Safeguarding Statement

At North Star Tuition, the safety and wellbeing of every young person I support is our top priority. I am committed to creating environments, where all children feel safe, respected, and valued.

My safeguarding approach is rooted in the principles of Contextual Safeguarding, recognising that young people's experiences of harm often occur beyond their home. I understand that relationships, peer influence, and the environments in which young people spend time can all impact their safety.

I work in partnership with productions and the relevant safeguarding lead. I hold BBC Level 2 Safeguarding, NSPCC Level 2 safeguarding and National College, Level 3 Safeguarding. I am trained to recognise signs of harm in all contexts and act accordingly. I listen to young people, take their concerns seriously, and adapt my practices to meet their evolving needs in this fast paced and sometimes stressful industry.
