With a wealth of experience in education, I tailor tuition to suit the needs of the young people I work with.

CBBCs The Dumping Ground
Providing expert tuition for 12 seasons to a wide age range of young people. Supporting SATs preparation, GCSE preparation and assessment during Covid 19 pandemic.
Although education is about more than results and the tutor room is a happy and productive space, I consistently achieve some outstanding results at GCSE with my tutees.
I offer full support to the 2nd AD and Production Department to ensure compliance with Child Performance Licencing Regulations and I am able to provide paper and electronic documentation to support compliance.
Annie The Musical
Working on The UK and Ireland Tour, tutoring a cast of 21 orphans aged 7 to 14, during the Annie musical tour.
I ensured high quality work to facilitate smooth a reintegration into school, while also fulfilling chaperone duties.
I also managed tasks such as learning the chaperone track, quick changes, severe allergy management, overnights, and mealtimes.
As always, I established a strong rapport with the young cast and their parents, I also became valued and trusted member of the team among colleagues.
Disney's Lion King
Working on The UK and Ireland Tour, tutoring a cast of twelve young Simbas and Nalas.
Partnerships were quickly built with schools and parents to provide settled and productive learning for the young cast. Feedback from parents, chaperones and Company management was exceedingly positive.
School Career
After graduating with a First Class (hons) in Business Studies, I qualified as an ICT teacher. I worked in County Durham for six years before joining Barnardo's, whom I developed an alternative curriculum for.
Since, I have taught ICT/Computing, Business and Maths across the Northeast. During 10 years on supply, I have covered most subject areas, this has made me exceedingly flexible and stood me in great stead for my tuition work with screen and stage, as I tutor all subjects at a variety of levels.
